If you saw a man drowning and you could either save him or photograph the event...what kind of film would you use?

Do you mean what ISO or actually what brand?

It's a "classic" question in the photography field -- I've even seen it posted here before. Try doing a Forum Search for "drown."

put my digital camera on self timer, eliminate the film altogether - get a photo of me saving the man, and if the photo didnt come out good.
throw him back in the water and try again ;}

silly question

a) I would use a 36-exposure roll (or maybe Super-8 movie film) with a high tensile strength so I could throw him a lifeline and not get my feet wet.

b) Whatever film is in my friend's camera.
