I was blessed to see Mr and Mrs this morning at the backyard feeder! I was just a touch to slow to get them together in the tree, maybe next time! More light would have helped!!

Beautiful birds. I find your focus is a little soft though. I was considering a Rebel myself, but I've have heard a couple of people comment on the soft focus. Granted, I have seen mostly crisp shots from other users. Are you using the lens that came with the kit? Don't mean to offend.

I have been trying to get a photo of a pair of these together. Hasn't happened yet...

I love the camera! I am using a Sigma 70-300 f4-5.6 fully extended on a very overcast morning. It is camera shake and lack of light that are my combatants!I am sure a IS Canon lens wouldn`t hurt but John would know much more about that than I!

having the light makes all the difference!! My shutter speed was only 1/80th due to the dull day.It is a great camera, good glass would make a difference, Owen. I could not possibly get that picture with the kit lens but i would have a nice picture of the tree!LOL
