One of the photos that I took of the band D.N.A was published in the newspaper this week. It's so cool seeing one of your own photos in a newspaper.
The full artical.

Great, best of luck with more and better recognition of your talents ~ (one day me too before I get to my rapidly approaching dotage!!!!)
As birgir says you really should gotten a credit.
But sadly over the past fews years papers and magazines have taken a very cavalier attitude towards freelancers submissions.
The ownership and rights of your work in the marketplace needs to be guarded.
Subject to whether you knowingly gave up your rights to the image if you find it being republished elsewhere without a credit or payment I would suggest that you take action as you see fit.
More power to your elbow. |

congrats Ben ... i have a same situation actually within my office and departments .. a newsletter was sent out and a photo i took over a year ago was printed - yet no credit .. i emailed the editor and at least made her aware ... she got right back to me and thanked me for bringing it to her attention ... the office i shared the photo with sent it in for the publication and didnt say where they got it from ... so in the end for me it was a learning lesson ... but if i compare my knowledge now till then .. i have learned that photo credits are always neccesary :) - when back then i just figured i'd share the photo :)

I did ask if they could include credit in the email that I sent the picture with, but I guess they were just too lazy :P

Way to go, Ben! I like the website. I was just listening to their music, not bad.
You are the coolest 16 year old around and I am glad to know you!
