Someone PMed me and asked about what books I'd recommend

I plan on turning this into a real set of reviews some day soon, but I put this together this evening as a starting point. It might be useful to some. Right now it is just a partial list, with short comments and ratings, of the books I've read in the last couple of years, but I hope to expand upon it if I have time.

Also if anyone is interested in writing reviews of books they've read - get in touch. I want to set up a site to collate all that info in one place, if you are interested.
