| Umm, I'm assuming this is a game of some sort? What do you do - air guitar? (I'm apparently not in the loop with respect to these things. No one sent me the memo.) |

no no no
you have a guitar with buttons on it and the buttons on the fret of the guitar shaped controller coincide with the notes on the screen.

| I think I'd have to see it to truly understand it, but I get the idea. And it does sound like it'd be fun. I think pictures are required, though. :-) |

Or if you are old and dont know current things...

a color comes up on the screen, and you push the corresponding color on your "guitar" while hitting the "string" (a tab at the bottom) |

but in order for you to use the guitar you have to slide the wii controller IN the guitar (2nd guitar from the left)

I am most definitely old and not up on current things. I will need pictures. And there's no way I could attempt to play the game - I have an old person's complete lack of response time and little to no coordination (except I do play golf when I'm not deployed to a place with no greens - I have no explanation for how I manage to do that.)

Is it true that GH3 has all original songs, no covers?
I just picked up GH Rocks the 80's and all but 3 or 4 songs are covers :(, kinda hard to tell but still..

its about 55% of the songs are originals

Here's a video that shows how it works ... only problem is, you have to ignore the dork's antics, but it's a good overlay of the video and it really gets going at about 1:15 -- YYZ by Rush on Expert
