I want to do a shoot where my model looks almost frozen. I was thinking that spray snow you can buy at Xmas, but I didn't know if it would work, or if it was toxic for the skin. Is there anything else I can use to make the person look almost crystalized or frozen (with out using PS)? I know some of you have great imaginations and I figured I would ask here!
Thanks!

okay actually there are a few things that you can do. silver lipstick, baby powder. try different types of lighting. I dont think that the snowy spray is toxic, you can go to the local salon and find white gel for hair. use a lil imagination and it all should come together! would like to see the outcome!
good luck!

If you are careful, you could compose the pic with a darker background, use midday sun and then set your camera to a flouresent white balance setting, will put every thing with a blue cast to it ( use this to make day shots look like moon light as well, just underexpose a bit) for the ice crystals, I would try white styorofoam shredded, or almost anything that is really white or clear, maybe just spray with water, it will come out blue with the off set white balance. |
