this is great! I had my photog class yesterday and this is how it went down:
Get there at 5:30, prof says - "hey guys, go out side and shoot for an hour and them come back."
Get back at 6:30 - "Alright, lets take a break and get some food if you want"
Get back at 6:50 - "Who wants to show the pictures they took"
Then we spent the next hour and a half reviewing and critiquing the pictures everyone took.
Definitely a lot more interesting then staring at a book. |

Not to mention, next week we are going on a "field trip" and just spending the night shooting for a few hours.
And for my photographer report, I decided to do it on TERENCE DONOVAN, so any sites you guys know, hook me up. |

| I'm trying to get back in school. I've got my AA but I want to take a bunch of art classes at the local community college so I can transfer to the big school. I'm definately going to take the photography class. Sounds like alot of fun! |

This must be a digital class? Sounds like fun! I'm a TA for the beginning film class at my university, but we haven't gotten to that level of freedom yet. We're still teaching how to use the camera, and all our shooting is for assignments (shutter speed, aperture, etc). We'll be getting to the good stuff soon, though, and working in the darkroom is a lot of fun.
Definetly, go back to/stay in school if you're able!

No thanks. I went 7 years.
I think I'd want yourprofessor's job, though. (between tokes on the doobie) "euh, ok go shoot another hour outside while I nap".

Thats what I did. Graduated in 2005, started back in 2007 to get an additional bachelors.
I have made the decision that as long as someone is willing to pay for it, I will go to college forever. |

I managed 10 years full time then a further 5 part time. Well worth it when someone is paying you to go.

| Im on my 5th year, Im paying for the current year, but I expect to be on the full time payroll here by January, so they will pick up 90% of tuition after that, the only catch is I have to stay here 2 years after I finish my degree. |

Laterer: post a forum topic: "what do you think of these?"
Latererer: shoot more pics ...
repeat!
priceless.
