With the new browsing features on DPC it really seems like portfolios are much easier to browse and you can really see how an individual collection really shines more than its individual parts. In this thread I thought it would be nice to bring light to some of those collections you really like, so others can enjoy the collections we find.

Post the first image in the collection, the photographer and the collections name, and some reason why you chose it.

I'll post two to start.
Mephisto, Deserted Farms in B&W
It has a great overall mood and feel of abandonment and great duotone images.

Brad, Veronica May
Brad says it was all his subject and her personality and not him at all. But it is rare on any shoot to have 95 keepers that all show her personality, I think all shot with natural light.

There is no limit to how many collections you can post, just put in the first photo, photog, collection, and why you chose it. Looking forward to see what comes up. :)

Oh this is going to be cool! Great idea man!

These two photags are tops among my favs around here.

jenesis

I love Jen's natural slice of America feeling and approach to photography. She really captures moments and passes the feeling and emotion of the shot along to the viewer.

RKT

Rachel has such an amazing and unique style; plus an amazing eye for capturing everyday things and just making them cool as hell to look at.

Great idea! I was just thinking the other day, while browsing of course, how great some members collections are. This is a great way to showcase them, their collections that is. :)

While there are many, here are a few of my favorites to start:
Joey Lawrence's India collection.
I could get lost in here all day.

pedro's People of Thailand collection
Hmmmmm, I think I'm sensing a theme here...

pekesty's Wheels & Such
Awesome! Although it was a tough call between that and his
Scenics collection

And lastly
Annah's Self portraits
Whimsical, offbeat and just darn cool.

PS: ;-) @ Steve
