I just used a software tool to seamlessly stitch together two separate images. Wow, is it neat. The two images were taken with a super wide angle zoom set at 17mm on a Nikon D1x camera body. The curvature of the two images was virtually eliminated.
Here is a sample result. Have others used this sort of tool too?

which tool?
I have tried Several but always seem to go back to Canon's PhotoStitch as that program has yielded the best results for me.
Panoramic's
The sunrise image was stiched from 4 horizontal photos.
the sunset photo is 6 verticle photos.

After looking at your panarama, I checked out your profile and saw the monkey hill photo and was very curious as to where/what that is. Care to elaborate?
