I think it would be an interesting addition to the site to create user 'journals' where photographers could keep a 'diary' of sorts related to their photography activities. The user could choose to make the journal publically viewable or private. Example fields:
Date:
Time:
Subject:
Journal Entry:
The user's journal could be accessed via their profile page...
Just a thought...

| Sounds good. All my shots come in fits and starts so I always end up with a series anyway. It may actually help trying to focus on some more 'deliberate' shots too. |

John, you may want to try submitting to the BBC's site for photo assignments.
It could make for some nice, high-profile coverage. Shame they don't offer the opportunity for comments from viewers though - it helps to know what people think, and how they were influenced by a shot. |
