Inglourious Basterds - This is surely Tarantino's finest film. Brilliant. 10/10

If you haven't seen District 9 then you haven't seen the best movie of the year, and one of the best sci-fi movies ever made.

GI-JOE: 5/10

It was so bad, it was good. On an absolute scale the movie was probably 1/10, but I added 4 "fun" points because of all the times I found myself laughing at unintentional humor.

My wife and I drove two hours each way (on a work night) to get to one of the few theaters showing Adam right now.

The movie was worth a drive twice as far. 10/10

Seen a few recently...

The Hangover - 9/10 really good, wouldn't have gone to see it if not for the positive reviews - its definitely worth seeing

GI Joe - 4/10 not surprised that it wasn't good but had to go

District 9 - 7/10 worth seeing once but thats about it

The Goods - 4/10 some funny moments, didn't expect much but i don't think they really tried too hard with this movie

District 9: 9/10 One of the best sci-fi movies to come out in a while. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Inglourius Basterds: 9/10 Will be one of Tarantinos classics. Not as gory as some of his other flicks, but there were outstanding performances... particularly Christoph Waltz.

Post Grad - I just saw it tonight. Really a terrible crappy movie. However, my wife and I needed to get out of the house and she had actually had made plans to see it with a friend so it was an alright little escape I suppose.

District 9: 6/10 - Great main character but a cop-out sequel-making ending.

The Constant Gardener 8/10.

Ralph Fiennes - so good!

Inglorious Basterds: nice paced, interesting dialogs, very grahphic (as one would expect from Tarantino's), and has a surprising beautiful photography - 9/10.

Rented âFast and the Furiousâ from the Redbox for $1, and it was 99cents too much. Vin Diesel, if itâs possible, is getting worse as a actor. The story was anemic, and predictable.

"DISTRICT 9"

A treat for me, if your into the video games such as Half Life, or Resident Evil, then this is for you!

Kill Bill Vols 1 & 2 - 8/10. These are fantastically fun movies, but can drag on a bit, and the acting isn't exactly top notch. Still, every now and then, I love to watch them for the sheer maniacal thrill.

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - This is the newest one, with Alan Rickman voicing Marvin. It was actually quite good, and I found myself laughing, a lot. I'd give it a 8/10.

perhaps explains my taste for grainy slightly blured photographs

Gran Torino 7/10 The style of lighting made the movie for me. Fairly predictable plot.

Inglorious Basterds 9/10
Stunning film. The story, the clothes, uniforms, makeup, hairstyles, etc. Mostly the unique photography!!
Liked it but then I'm a fan of Tarantino's strange view of things.
