I doubt very much that there's a good answer here, but ya just never know with the vast DPC knowledge base :)

I have a Palm TX, and wouldn't it be cool if there was some way to get images off a CF card and FTP them somewhere?

This would really come in handy when I'm shooting Steelers games, for example. They have a wireless network for press folks, so the Internet connectivity is no issue. I just have no way of getting photos off the card, to the TX, and an ability to FTP them to my server.

I currently normally send stuff to the newspaper from home after the game, but it would sure be nice to have an easy way of doing this at the stadium without dragging the laptop along (and worrying about it being stolen).

Maybe there's a Bluetooth gizmo out there that could help get the images from the card? I dunno.

get an SD->CF card and shoot that in your camera, pull the SD card out of the CF sleeve, stick it in the palm and you are good to go ?

That certainly seems like a possibility...!

Now if I could find a decent FTP program for the Palm, I may be onto something!

You're a walking encyclopedia :) I'll see if I can get any of those to work.

In other news, how's the Geocaching going for you? (I'm allowed to hijack my own thread, right?)
