OK, I did a basic search for threads and didn't find what I was looking for (or maybe my patience for searching ran out). What I'd like to know from the DPC community is this: what do you normally do if you wish to take pictures of people and keep them looking random/candid? Do you ask them first before you take the picture and have them fake a candid shot or do you just take the picture and hope they don't notice? Thanks in advance! :)

Mo' stuff:
I forgot to mention that these pictures will be of total strangers. Getting candid shots of friends is WAY easier. :)
