I guess I've done my duty

My nephew is in Irag as a reported this summer. He is only 19, a sophomore at Princeton. He writes beautifully, has always been interested in military history and stuck up a friendship with General Petraeus.

Read his latest blog entry.

wow, certainly deserves a bump.

As weird as it may sound to some, there are times I feel bad that I haven't been sent to the war to help support my shipmates and Marines and defend my country, but then again, with just 20 months left to retire I am getting scared that they may actually send me.

This is truly a touching story and reminds me a bit of the late Ernie Pyle's work, your nephew should be commended for taking on type of story.
