Just had to tell someone:)
It was published in one of our weekly newspapers really big on the front page. Will be online later today. Will post a link to it after the challenge is over.

I have managed to sneek into 12 or so UK magazines but can't seem to get on a newspaper, and would love to!
Did have to submit my after dark image to a local rag (big fire), but there freelance photographer turned up and they took his ;( so close yet so far.
One day...

Close its hovering right around 5. You have experiance with low scoring published photos?
yea, It's alway's neat to see something you took in print that you know a lot of people are going to see.

I sent an email to the editor with a link to a smaller image of the photo. Then was contacted with the dimensions and DPI they needed the Original inorder to print it.
Pueblo west is a smaller community around 20,000 people so the weekly paper is really friendly with photo's from local photographers.
