The 100 vote mark. I expected low 5's and haven't gotten it, but with two recent comments I know what I could have done with selective desat (new to me, but worked in my experimenting after deadline) to highlight the subject.

Maybe people just didn't get it. There are some photos in there that I didn't get, but if they were still interesting and/or aesthetically pleasing I didn't vote them low (low being 5 and under). Don't feel too bad, alot of people don't get mine (which is why I have it spelled out in the title, though I think that just made people vote even lower since now it looks like a shoehorn).
If alot of people don't get it, you can expect a low score. (And don't try explaining it with the title, cause that'll get you an even lower score). Also, if it's ugly or uninteresting, it'll probably get a low score. Simply put, I failed at appealing to a broad audience, and/or convincing the voters that I achieved the goal of this challenge. |

But when I see the ones with all the noise(deliberately left in the photo), as if someone was attempting to get the brown, I generally help them out in that aspect too. I don't know why someone would give a low score to a good pic that stretches the challenge limits, or that they don't understand. Check out my recieved comments after the wings challenge. There is one person in particular that had this issue. I guess they don't know the definition of figuratively. Hopefully, they will figure it out in the future.

Boo hoo- I wanted a ribbon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I started at a 7.4 and been going up and down since. In the last 11 votes went from a 7.1 to 6.8- I'm still happy though. Top Twenty???????????

edit to say I just got TROLLED LMAO blimey went from 7.3 to a 7.2430 must of been a 1 or a 2 to do that.. well, Im no expert but I think it may deserve better than a 2 LOL, oh well, watch out folks they're doing their rounds..

| Blech. I don't even want to post my score, it's humiliating. It's only my second challenge, but I guess I should conform a little until I can do truly excellent outside-the-box shots. I'll bet if I had posted a slightly out-of-focus pic of a bird or a bug it would be at least a 5+. |
