Okay, so pardon my ignorance, but hey, I'm new at this stuff... I recently purchased a lighting set up. I have two interfit strobe flash units, one with an umbrella and one with a soft box. I have a Nikon D80, so I needed the RF slave that fits onto the hotshoe since it doesn't have the proper outlet on the camera itself (why did Nikon not include this on the D80? Oh well, that's another forum I guess). The problem I'm having is that since there's only one receiver, only one of the flashes can fire per shutter release. Am I missing something with getting the other one to fire, or do I need a whole second receiver? Can I get the other flash to go off in some way? Am I missing a hook up somewhere? I'm pretty bright, but this one has me scratching my head.

It's the camera...Lol. I have the 600 interfit strobes. I use the interfit transmitter. Fires both just fine. My trans. fits on the camera? Good luck....

Will the second interfit strobe fire as an optical slave? If so, put it in that mode and the first strobe will cause the second one to fire.

YEAH!! Thanks to your advice, I was able to fix my problem and now both lights fire! I guess I could have read the instructions, but what fun would that have been? Anyway, my wife was nice enough to help me practice tonight, and here are the results!...
