So far 2 for 2 on 6s, it looks like will be 3 for 3, but I am not sure of 4 for 4 or 5 for 5.
The goal must be achieved, fun less only for a while, then competition starts taking over :/ |
what? |
Here is what...
I am trying very hard and if my tries not good enough, I am wasting my time here.

My score is pretty average because my photo is pretty average. I just came here to say that this is the best challenge on dpc in a while and I expect to see a lot of great scores. Amazing work people!
I added 12 photographs from this challenge to my favorites! |

Leo, trying to do well on this site is never a waste of time ;-) Didn't you write earlier on that you had a 7+ score? |

Perhaps you need to take a break for a while? - If it really is causing you that much stress and discouragement. This is a bit like learning golf. If you can accept you'll never be Tiger Woods and just go out and relax and enjoy yourself, great. If you get too competitive and stressed out with the bad shots, then it's time to take a step back. |

So far so good. Less views and votes than others that have posted before me, but this is much better for the early hours than I am used to lately...

Most welcome! However, I am a bit upset with everyone else. Astounding to believe that a photo I have added to my favorites in this challenge is only scoring a 6.2
Get a clue voters! |

I hope it gets rewarded.

As I have said before 6.2 is much higher then what I expected.
The thing is there is a heat wave here at the moment and yesterday when I went to town to get a few street shots I thought I was melting while walking the streets looking for a good shot. I ended up in a small coffee shop, drinking cold beer, and hoping my shot will come to me instead of me searching. |

it is always wise to drink cold beer when shooting. Fun too :) |

All I can say is, "lucky you". I'm in Northern Europe (Finland) and have experienced cool wet weather now since the middle of June. It's not forecast to improve here, at least in the next ten days or so. I experienced warmer weather in Chicago in April than I have here in the summer, so a little heatwave would be very welcome right now. Top temp forecast for tomorrow is 13 c (56 F) with heavy rain. |

122 degrees here. I don't know the conversion. I'll take that damp, cool weather if you don't mind boxing it up and sending it this way.
Average score for me (5.5!) and no comments or favs. Which is OK, as it's an average capture. The big thing was that I was able to shoot something - not even close to what I wanted to shoot, but that's another story. |

while I agree - I am not so sure this is true.
I had a few (about 10)beers while I shot and posted my entry to the rhythm challenge and that was the results.
I kind of think that drinking 10 or more beers before shooting will automatically make you a candidate for the Posthumous Ribbons of the Week

I think that people that are voting and commenting that it isnt a street photograpy should read the challenge description better.
Street photography is a type of documentary photography that usually features people in candid situations in public places such as streets, parks, beaches, malls, political conventions, and other settings. Go out and take your best photo using street photography techniques.
It is all about the technic, not the place. Please voters, read the description before commenting and giving low votes because of your misunderstanding, it is rather irritating to say the least. |
