Maybe I missed this in photography 101, but can anybody help me understand the differences between photojournalism, documentary, reportage and editorial photography. |

It probably depends on your point of view, but in many ways to me it would be the difference between a daily news paper, a sunday paper, a monthly magazine and a book project.
They might all be reporting real life, but the focus and intent shifts across the genres

The first three probably have at least a vestige of objectivity, while editorial sounds to me like it would difinitely favor some particular viewpoint. Otherwise I pretty much agree with Gordon, that it has to do with the immediacy and depth with which the story is handled. |

With documentary (usually image-based) and, ideally, reportage (usually text-heavy)] being the least interpretive genres.
