Just wondering how others are voting - seems that a lot of shots don't show much "action" but the instructions for this challenge just say "This week, capture your subject in motion." Motion does not necessarily mean a great deal of action, so I just wonder how others see this challenge.

These discussion threads made during the voting process serve little purpose and just tend to tick people off, especially if their submission isn`t doing that well. And no, I don`t have a submision for this challenge before you ask.

Some people think that such threads unduly affect people`s votes and skews the voting procedure towards / against certain types of shots.

Just vote.

Well, 'scuse me for livin' (I mean askin'). I'd no intention of stirring anything up!

well your supposed to vote as if it met the challenge - even if it doesn't.

Vote on how much you like the image. Forget action or motion...bah.

All the good ones show both anyway to me. And action is anything that is in motion...

Maybe you forgot your morning coffee?

Tanks, Jonpink - that's kinda how I felt, but sometimes I like a guideline as to how others think to be sure I'm not somewhere off in lala land, LOL!

That's not entirely accurate. You should vote as if an image is legal even if you think it's not but whether or not you think it meets the challenges is entirely up to you and you can vote as you see fit.

Correct. The rules state: While voting, users are asked to keep in highest consideration the topic of the challenge and base their rating accordingly.

Anytime, mine also went down, WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Not, seriously, my action shot was a last minute entry, last minute idea, something entirely different for me and I didn't expect to do well and am actually doing better than I expected so no complaints from me. :)

Hey, at least I didn't enter this one: just to cause some chaos :)

Well if you really must know how you should vote then I would be amiss to not offer a suggestion... I say vote my photo a 10 and everyone else a 1, ok I'm not that mean, try a 2 instead!

:-P Very cute - don't we all feel that way, LOL - at least sometimes?

Actually, I don't see much that isn't fitting the subject in this challenge. Not only that, but I believe I am voting a bit higher on average this time than most. Lot's of good shots. I have not checked the stats on my shot yet, but even if they are high, I think I'll be lower down the ladder than they may indicate.

Keep up the good work.
