I found a new free software tool today that I think is really excellent if you are into blogging.

Windows Live Writer

This is a locally installed WYSIWYG editor for blog posting. It's compatible with lots of different blogging formats, and I have tested it on WordPress successfully. It gives you full word processor editing capabilities, including hpyerlinks, inserting images, and tables. You can compose your blog post locally and then publish it to your blog. You can also save drafts locally or online.

Just thought I would pass this along... I find it really useful :)

I use it for my Live Spaces account... works ok, I have a few requests and pointed out a few bugs to the team at MS.

I haven't used it in a spell so the fixes might be out, but there was some issues especially the way it handled photos. It will be a good tool as it imbeds in a lot of MS stuff like IM and IE7 where with a button click you are editing a blog or capturing someone. Then you publish and it uploads to your blog.

I may have to revisit it...
