There are some really nice shots in this months Free Study.
I've had a quick look through and will need to sit down and vote when I have more time.
Like many of you, mine set off higher and then had a slide : (
I sometimes wonder whether people feel they can only give out a limited number of high scores - or maybe they feel they need to include a number of low scores . . who knows.

Well, considering I haven't done a challenge in almost a year, I guess I can be happy with this. Considering my score started around 5.0 and has been slowly increasing since. |

Well, I don't do the update button thing anymore but I see I've got seven comments so far. I've just started voting and commenting, and ..... WOW! The first thirty or so images just knocked me out of my seat. Mine doesn't stand a snowflakes chance in hell! Oh well, Free Studies are the toughest challenges on this site. Good luck to everybody and I'm gonna try to vote on all and maybe comment on thirty to fifty percent. Whew, I'm tired already!

I feel like I've been on this ride so many times before. Started out getting nothing but 7s and 8s with a few sprinklings of 6s and 9s then all of a sudden I go through a dark tunnel that splashes into a sea of 5s and the tunnel won't end! And now I've noticed there are some turds floating up ahead. Any chance someone can reverse this thing? |

I totally forgot about the free study until about 30 mins to the deadline. Managed to pull something out and load it after editing - So I am quite happy with the score.
Have some nice comments too.

If this image does not score at least a 6.2 or higher, I'm not entering another Free Study. I don't expect a ribbon, I don't expect top ten, but I do expect at least that. My image might not be the best in the challenge, but I do feel it is strong enough to get that. (And I'm never arrogant about my photography at all..) |

Mate, I think mine is worth at least 6.5, but its languishing at the 6.497 mark :) Making a statement saying you will never enter another freestudy because your score is lower than expected is a bit, well, infantile.
Take the score on the chin and move onto the next challenge.
