Hi there!

I have to buy a new laptop and the one that I want comes with Windows Vista. So I wonder if anybody has it allready and if the programs where compatible. The ones that I'm most worried are:

- Photoshop CS 1 and 2
- RawShooters Premium
- Lightroom v1.0
- Bible Pro
- FotoFusion v.4
- Nikon Capture

Any feedback is very wellcome.

I'm running ultimate 32 (since my webcam doesn't work in 64).

Photoshop CS 1-3 : Never experienced issues with Vista
Lightroom 1.0 & 1.1 : 1.1 improved Vista compatability, but never experienced problems with 1.0 with Vista.

Not sure about the rest.

I've got Bibble light and it works fine on Vista.

They do have a FAQ and forum on the Bibble site if you have any concerns

I have vista ultimate too, and no problems with CS2

Did have issues with controlling monitor calibration, but with a huey it's much better.

I-tunes is the only program that i have had any real issues with.
Everything else that i use (Photoshop, rawshooter, neat image etc) works just as well if not betterthan XP.

Fotofusion runs a little weird under Vista. It's usable. It's just little annoyances.

I have vista

- Photoshop CS 1 and 2 no problem
- RawShooters Premium I don't know but the essentials work!
- Lightroom v1.0 no problem

Warning that even if you are an admin you haven't all the permissions on the HD by default. If some software don't work select Computer--> C:--> properties--> protection and select the check boxes for additional permissions. (I had this problem with Visual Basic 6 and this solve it)

What sort of issues did you have with iTunes? Since the iPhone is joined at the hip to iTunes ... does that mean that Vista users can't activate and use an iPhone?
