I read recently that Canon have produced @28million EOS bodies (including that 4-letter word; "film")and @30million EOS lenses.
Given that ALL of us here have slightly more then 1.07 lenses; who out there is taking pics without a lens?? Maybe SLR's are point-n-shots after all :-)

Yeah, I hear ya but that is common sense so excluded for this conversation :-) Besides, Sigma also have bodies. I see you list 5.5 Canon branded ones in addition to the others and I list 4.5 Canon branded (although I have another 2.5 that I don't list :-o) [I only counted the EF-s as 0.5 okay].
Clearly between us there must be a couple of people taking pics without anything on the front :-) Once all of us DPC nuts are counted, we close that gap pretty quickly :-)

| I would imagine that there are ALOT of people that buy nothing more than a rebel and an 18-55. For most people buying SLRs, thats all they need to take photos of their kids... |

As said earlier, theres alot of dead or obsolete bodies missing their lenses I just bought two canon bodies with no lenses. |

My 10 year old has owned a rebel with the 18-55mm kit lens for two years now...but she mostly uses my lenses. |

| yeah, i hear you on the lack of money part... have you guys seen the cost of a Zuiko Lense for olympus 4/3 System... they get pretty expensive since there the only option... |

They arent the only option lmao. Many companys make lenses for the 4/3 system. Leica aint much cheaper i do believe they make 4/3 lenses. |

| yeah, but they dont make many, soon they will come out with more... i hope... or i will just by a Nikon or Cannon. |
