I once voted on a Free Study after driking a venti Starbucks coffee and a couple Mountain Dews. I voted on all entries in under 2 minutes!

Hey Ursula's a Canadian? Cool, Great to see were represented by SC... as for drinking and voting... umm, well i dont know how to put this. but... isn't it in the rules?

All users MUST be under the influence of some mind enhancing substance while voting... purpose for said rule is to make it easier for poorer photographs to be voted higher.
or at least it should be a rule... i think my entry in the insects would have done better, and i think my current one would be doing better too...

Oh confessions!! I won't tell you what I was doing while voting on the nude challenge. I appologise for well... lets just leave it at that.

Yeah, but all the Canadian SC's are in BC... we need one from The maritimes, one with a thick accent that goes "Yarr Where me photo be!"...
and i have a idea for voting... take every sore... and add a full point to it.. then it doesnt seem so bad, like a photo that got blue at say 7.0 would now be 8.0 and the person that got the brown with the 3.5 now gets 4.5... and yes, i know, its sheilding us from the true reality, but wouldnt it feel nice...

also since the higest rated photo is 8.6, i dont think anyone will get a 9.0 or higher in todays voting standards...

i suppose it wouldnt work, but it would sure make me feel nice and dandy...

Got ya all beat, I vote under the influence of noisy, crying, fighting and complaining toddlers, kids and teens (6)! Which if you have kids you know can induces an coma like insanity :oP~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Are those chopped or pitted? My gf will only eat the chopped but unfortunately the stores here almost always just carry the pitted ones only.

Okey here is my confession:

I have habit of joking with people, and I do tease many people (specially friends).
I have made it a point that I do not vote on challenges i enter, but I do joke.
So for just teasings sake, I just vote 10-15 percent of enteries (so that my vote should not count in the end), and give all of them 10s.
Just to give momentary pleasure to reciever.
(I hope it does feel good to see a bump in score, even if it was for a joke's sake).

I'm from the maritimes... I guess the views from the people on the other side of Canada are that we take our pirate ships to the local Sobeys. Sadly not everyone has their own pirate ship...Only the lucky ones.

Come to the maritimes some time and see what it is all about (without the pirate ships). I guarantee you will find some AMAZING photo opportunities in some of the really historic areas. I just came back form Lunenburg, NS, what a great place.

P.S. Don't forget about the lobster!

Yeah, i know alot about the maritimes. i spent half my childhood there. 8 years in Halifax, and then 8 in Edmonton. then 3 in PEI. My parents have there own Pirate ship... well, its a cruiser, but i call it a pirate ship...
there are a lot of photo opportunities in that part of the country, i wish they had shipyards and stuff like that here in edmonton...

I've been to the Maritimes only once, and then only to a little part of it. What I saw was really beautiful though. My husband and I often talk that we would like to visit again. But I love living in the West :)

Pitted is my preference, chopped in an emergency. Why doesn't your gf get them pitted and chop them herself? It should add to the pleasure of eating them :)

I quite like them whole also, the pits are rather smooth and creamy, and when you're done you can spit them out, with gusto.

This is getting weirder by the minute.

Yes, it is cruel joke, but have done it many times.
About spelling, this is not forte. I just wish my handwriting was not bad also.

(speaking of handwriting, fortunately I can really write beautifully).

be careful what you wish for. imagine a genie popped out of the bottle of whatever you were drinking and said, 'wish granted'... then what the heck woul they do with a shipyard in edmonton? It would cause a public outcry, a riot!

my confession? I have voted on images sober.... and still gone back and gone 'what the heck was I thinking?!?!'
