I've a daft question. Do all the votes from the people who have posted less than 20% votes get deleted at the end, or is the figure I see as my running average for each pic (while voting is in progress) the average of the people who've already posted their 20% up to that point?
The reason I ask is that I've seen two recent challenges stay fairly constant in scores all week and slump by as much as 0.1 in the last 6 hours of voting. I was wondering if the average is modified at the end (when the sub-20%-ers are removed) that might account for a shift in score.
By the law of averages though, the score is as likely to go up as well as down. In fact, you'd think it's not likely to do either, as I don't think people who haven't cast as many votes aren't likely to mark pics much higher or lower as a trend.

| they drop at rollover. if they didn't show up till someone voted 20% then you wouln'd have any score for a while after voting starts. |

Yes. If someone doesn't vote atleast 20% their votes are tossed out automatically at rollover. "The Scrubber" also catches anomolous votes (like all 1s or all 10s) and tosses those.

Not ALL 1s and 10s. Just those that are in suspect pattern. For example a user votes nothing but 1s through the entire challenge. His votes are tossed. Same if a user votes nothing but 10s through the whole challenge, etc. Trollish voting patterns.

If someone voted unusually high percentages of either 1's or 10's they're scrubbed. That's an attempt to control troll voters and now those voting overly high to offset trolls.
In regard to score dropping at rollover;
There isn't any predicting which way it'll go, tho' I used to find mine usually rose but lately almost always drops :(

What? You mean that all those challenges that I gave everyone 10's in all got TOS'd anyway? Geeze! Or did Langdon come up with that because I was doing that? I mean I stopped when he told me to, but still.... |

Yup, they likely got toss'd. And no, it wasn't because of you. That's been a feature for a good while.
