I'm trying to arrange to be there as well.
At the moment I have a sick baby but hopefully he gets better and I'll be able to add the GTG onto a visit to family in Newcastle.
And maybe also see the Knights play Canberra on Saturday!

I actually think everyone involved should watch this thread over the next few days.
We are expected to have bad weather arriving on Saturday. If it is raining, I think we should postpone it till another time. Whats your thoughts?

its probably gonna be a three hour drive for me to get to the central coast, which i was happy to do & i've burned a few cd's of boppy driving music for the trip ... but if its raining i think i'll be giving it a miss too ... the long range forecast says a few showers on sunday ... but they get it wrong a lot of the time ... but they're predicting 'a few showers' .. 'a shower or two' ... 'possible showers' till next wednesday ... bumer !!! ..:) ...

If they are predicting showers...why cancel...you are going to a place that has lots of wonderful indoor places that I am sure you could visit...or just go for a meal and then take it from there...think ahead you lot.

Hey Aussies, I just came back from holiday spent down under, and I have realized one thing: your meteorologists have no idea what they're talking about. While I was down there (Sydney, Cairns, Melbourne), I haven't seen a drop of rain fall from the skies, and the forecast was indicating rain for 10 out of 12 days I was down there.

Just get out. (And next time please plan your GTG when I'm in SYD.)

I'll keep an eye on this thread. When it was so cold this morning it made me start thinking how cold its going to be at 5.30am at the beach!

I just heard about the snow also!
At this stage I am travelling up with Firsty, leaving here at about 4.30am!!!!!! or earlier. I am more than happy to make a decision on Saturday night.

Hi All,

I will be in Terrigal from Friday arvo. I intend to be at the RV (I can't spell rendezvous!) at the due date and time. Where does one get a coffeee at Terrigal at 5:30 in the morning?
I have missed every other Sydney DPC GTG because I have been overseas or something. I am not going to miss this one rain, hail or shine. See you all there crappy weather or not. ;-)
Seriously I would love to catch up with DPC people face to face. Except for two of my friends who are members of DPC everyone else is a username to me.
