Cool Vad, I guess you won't be sleeping too much the next few nights. Was the same with me when I got my new cam :)

Gary you are absolutely right. :-) I have been up until 1 AM. My problem is that my computer hates USB and doesn't want to install my camera. :-( My previous camera worked well with USB, anyway. This is way too difficult, installing the whole Windows98 system was much easier a few days ago. :-)

Marta
I would suggest getting a card reader for the type of memory your camera uses. They are in the $20 range(not to expencive) and you just plug in to a USB port. Then you don't have to plug your camera in. |

Install the CD rom drivers first (no camera plugged in).
than plug the camera turned on and restart the computer....
I hate Windows 98,XP is no brainer ... |

Thank you for the new suggestions, I will try them. :-) I do have an SM card reader (and it works that way, anyway her computer is upstairs, ahhh), but at the moment my computer can't see it either. I keep trying anyway. :-)

Yeah, but the latest round of trojans and stuff target everyone but 9x so that's on benefit for us with archaic (4 years old ;-]) computers!

TooCool: Actually I have Windows98 because this is the only operaion system that supports my old scanner and printers... :-( Anyway I am not a fan of Microsoft products. :-)
Amateurboi: Indeed, oficially it can make a macro shot from 2cm. I am just trying it for Macro III, but sure, I will add some macros to my portfolio, I think this will be one of my favourite subjects now. :-)
