So I got this shot of the moon and Venus Saturday night:


I like it, but it leaves me feeling the same way as almost all moon shots: like something is missing.

I mean, it's really hard to get actual size moons into photos of anything else, other than going very far back and using a big zoom so your subject and moon are close in relative size.

I did it by compositing a while ago:


I'm just wondering whether I've missed some other option.
