Could we change "Membership Ends:" to something a little more customer friendly....maybe "Renewal Date"? And what color is that? Taupe? LOL!
PS....May have been discussed, very sorry for not searching. Thanks!

I just noticed it today and also found the wording blunt. I guess to get members attention as if the "your membership expires in 21 days" box on the front page does not do the trick. :P

I like how i have till Feb of 08 and the text is in red like "OMG".

There's a thread on this same topic over here... thread....
But I like it over here better since I find I'm more aligned with the sentiments....whoohoo! red? text on my profile page!? =/

Didn't it at one time read: "Member Expires on: "?

... I liked that better because then I knew when I was gonna kick the bucket and could live my life more wrecklessly.

I'm sorry, but this whole "can we be more nice, can we be more politically correct" bullshit has just gone overboard.

Your damn membership ends on the membership ends date.

If they change the words to renewal date, will it really make that much more difference to your well-being?

Yikes, get a shrink!

I think changing it to that might put too much stress on the person...making them think there life is about to be over once there membership expires, in a few cases here that is probably very true though.

"Your membership will take a bullet to the head and we will kill a puppy named Bobo unless you renew before:"

Maybe Langdon just recently discovered the red script key. It looks cool. : )
It's ok with me, as I have very little memory for such things and need to be reminded .

well, now that that's done, maybe we can get some of these done...

@ it would be nice if you could select a bunch of photos in your portfolio, then assign galleries and camera and shot info to that group, rather than having to open each one up and edit them individually. this is a real pain, especially when you upload a zip file :(

@ a USEFUL improvement that could help people get a handle on strong challenge entries, i maintain that the count of comments during the challenge would really be a good idea--and really shouldn't take as much effort to code or require any more overhead than some of the other statistics...

@ it would be nice to be able to filter comments received by user, so that i could a list of all the images of mine that a user has commented on without having to open up every one of my images.

Ha. I thought this had only appeared because my membership expires soon.

We've actually used red for quite a while, at least within the Site Council, to indicate things which are not publicly viewable.

It looks like Langdon decided to make that particular line item visible to users in their profiles. Since only you and SC can see it, it's red.

I had to read it twice to understand it . . But that's just me . . .

Now I do understand it I think it's a great idea.
