What type of info would people like to be included within the photographers' comment portion of the photo?
Exposure time
F number
ISO speed
Lighting source
Type of lens (Dslr)

It would be nice to have your thougts and ideas about the photo and any storyline information that may go along with it... why you chose a subject... etc..

I also want anything they want to put there except information which would explicitly identify the photographer.

I'd like to see the information while voting. |

I don't think photographer's comments will ever realistically become 'visible' during the challenge. There are a lot of problems associated with that.
Where it is nice is when doing critiques after the challenge.

I've suggested it be available as a pop-up during voting so only folks who want to see it would.
I think people who "abuse" the info box can be penalized exactly the same way as those who abuse the editing tools -- with a lower vote commensurate with the degree of their gaffe.
Perhaps it can be an experiment at a later date. In the meantime, remember that if you do not enter additional info about your photo (or at least the basic exposure info) the Critique Club has the option of bypassing a review of your picture. |
