I just started processing from this weeks batch but I have a ways to go yet. Opinions, thus far?

Any preference between these two Bow Bridge shots?

From the top two I like the Hate photo. As far as the two bridge photos, if I had to choose I would say the second one. Reason for that is I think the buildings in the background of the first one take your eye away from the bridge a bit.

Thanks.

My two best managed their way into the Free Study and Triptych. Wish I could post those...

Good luck in the challenges. Looks like you had a successful week.
I was reading eostyles comment and had to laugh because I prefer the first bridge shot because of the building in the bg. I think it adds depth and draws you through the photo. Also, better context of the bridges surrondings. Guess it's just personal preference. They're all great. :)

My vote goes to the second bridge picture. The white border seems to work better and the tree branches are a nice addition.

Love "Sizzle" from the first group! The others are nice, typical NY shots...

I also vote for the second bridge shot because I find the exposure on the background of the first unpleasing. The second has pretty lines/curves and feels complete as a composition.

I like both the bridge photos. I think it depends on what you actually want to accomplish. In the first, it's a nice leading line to the buildings, while in the second it's the only subject. Both are nice.

Both bridges are good and different. I personally like the first bridge. Like the fact I can see some of the environment that it is in, especially that the buildings in the background match the bridge.
