| I wish it was Saturday the 30th June, as I will be up on the Central Coast at my sisters place, at Koolewong near Gosford. I leave for Melbourne the next day. |

I am following this with interest. I can't make Saturday's due to sporting commitments at the moment, but if it happens to be on either a weekday or a Sunday I may just be able to make it. Having said that if it is over this long weekend I'm not palying sport.

| Just realised we are busy on Sunday of the long weekend. I would like to get to a beach where surfers are to try out the new camera. Lisa are there many surfers out nowadays or is it getting too cold for them? |

i forgot about the long weekend
Fiona - there are still surfers out. not as many but the freaks that dont mind the cold are still out :)
I can do the 9th, 16th 30th June or 1st July
Possibly the 23rd June

Hey Lisa, would I get some good shots just off Umina Beach? Are the waves very big at this time of the year or have the surfers just got so much saltwater in their blood they need to go in just because they can and don't care how big the surf is?

sorry to say Umina beach most of the time is flat. Your better off going to somewhere like McMasters or Avoca or even putty beach. Umina would be great but its mostly flat. The surfers still go in cause you never know when a 2 footer might come along lol

i'm thinking i'm ok for he weekend of the 9th, which is next weekend .. if we can make it, then either day will work coz i reckon we'd try to come on the saturday and stay over at some motel, coz it is a long way and i get tired ... it depends on greg tho, who doesnt know yet!!! but i'm hoping i can sway him into coming .. i dont want to go by myself and it'd be good opportunity for us to get away ....:):)
and shez ... really hoping to see you when you come to sydney .. how's your back & how's pete? .. xx

hey lisa .. i just spoke to greg and it looks like the long weekend's out for me too ... cant do the weekend of the 16th ... the weekend after could work for me .. which is the weekend of the 23rd june ... ???
how does the weekend of the 23rd sound for everyone to go up the cenral coast ?? ... nothing is definite at this point for me, and if other ppl want to do it on the weekend of the 16/17th then i'd understand ...:)

hey lisa ... i have no idea coz i dont know the area that well ... anywhere different from my usual is great with me .. and i'm sure you know some excellent places ..:)
and dont laugh ... but wot does bump do?? ... does it just bring the thread up to the most recent one listed ... ??

i'll just try and fit in with everyone else .. i know ppl like to photograph sunrises etc, but i'd probably meet up with everyone later than that .. the gtg's arent so much about taking photographs on the day for me, but meeting up with ppl and talking shop etc etc ... and even tho i do take photographs at the gtg's, i find it harder to get into the zone for some reason .. :)

| Unfortunately I'm out of all Saturdays until last weekend in August. I can easily do weekdays without any problems but I know this is harder for alot of people. |
