I had to go to the darkroom as soon as I got back to Binghamton last night and develop my film (No jokes about the dork using film!). I̢۪m just downloading my shots now, and since I have class, I probably won̢۪t have any ready to post until later tonight.
But I do want to say, I had a wonderful time, and it was a pleasure to meet you all! I hope we̢۪re able to get together again before too long. Cheers to you all!

6:00am : I woke up, bad throat and headache. I decided not to go for the GTG.
9:15am : I logon to Dpchallenge.com- read message posted by Stiger, NikonJeb and theSaj **thinking- I cannot miss this**
9:30am : In the shower, took directions and noted phone numbers
10:00am : on the road
12:05pm : Searching for the sign and a red bug in the wrong parking lot, no phone signal. Back on road, to find other lots and possibly a signal.
12:20pm : Ahha signal, pulled over, called theSaj, followed the direction.
12:30pm : the red bug, the hat ( OdysseyF22 ), huge lenses - who needs the sign :)
12:45pm : Time to shoot, fun times begin :)
.
. to be updated with the fun shots :)
.
7:00pm : Hit the road back!
9:30pm : I am sure, I was snoring!
Edit : Forgot to mention, I would have been stupid to miss the amazing GTG

Great GTG! Thank you everyone who organized and helped.
I propose we make another GTG there in the fall. Maybe go to the lake or even shoot the same waterfalls.

I think we should do another GTG. But I think having done waterfalls we should try something different.
I think perhaps we should consider gathering for one of Pennsylvania's caves and caverns. How cool would that be...

I think a Autumn GTG would rock! But I'll echo the sentiment that we've done the falls, so we should look for other things to shoot. The lake at Ricketts might be fun, I know there are other parks nearby with good stuff.
theSaj, the caverns idea sounds really cool. I've got no idea how to shoot underground - really long exposures, lots of flashes? That would be a neat GTG!

Caverns idea sounds good, I have been to Luray Caverns, VA and it̢۪s pretty interesting to do underground photography. Now after seeing your experience I don̢۪t want to miss next GTG. :)

Some quick edits.... it's tough trying to work when all you want to do is work on pics!
- OdysseyF22 Determined to get the right angle
- scalvert "How am I going to get over there to get that shot!?"
- Finding the right exposure was an issue while sitting on the cliffs...
- NikonJeb

Besides, if we go to caves...we almost ensure that Scalver returns to join us. I am not sure if the amateur geologist could resist a DPC GTG "under ground".
First off...no worries of cancellation due to rain. *ha ha*
We could call it the first GTG of the DPC underground and counter-culture. ;) |

It's cute the way you PS gurus make me look fat......8>)
ETA: Mty hat's off to the Saj for the terrific arrangements and efforts on his part.
Vikas, that pic of the Saj shooting the waterfall is just terrific.......it sort of sums up the fun and lengths that we went to getting the "right" shot.
I was also stunned at how decent, polite, and accomodating everyone was with each other at the various places to take shots.
Y'all are a class act!
I *still* hurt!

Okay, there are few photos that I'd love to have a copy of and right to print out photos for personal enjoyment. (ie: the one of me before the waterfall, a few of me and my wife, and I really like the one spyder got of me with my "white" L and the one of me and my wife.
:) |

Jason, Vikas' shot of you in front of the waterfall is fantastic. You should definitely see if you can sweet-talk a print out of him. :) |
