Your score is possibly in the range indicating that there is nothing particularly wrong with the photo, but there is nothing particularly strong either. Shots in this range seem to get weak comments.

| How do you score a photo that has achieved soft focus fairly well but is of a subject that is not appropriate for soft focus and is, in either soft focus or regular focus, a very ordinary photo? I hate to vote them low when it seems they have tried hard, and acheived at least moderate success, at the soft focus effect. But on the other hand, I find many photos in this challenge just turn me off. I hope everyone learned something about the technique. I did even though I have no entry. |

I think it is the end result that counts, not the effort.
(although I must admit I am sometimes influenced as well by it .... ) |
