Ooh, just completed my collection of images for Tryptich :D Haven't done all the editing yet, but I'm led to believe I actually have a decent entry this time (unlike the recent ones). Shame my original title is way too long - I'll have to think of a short snappy one that fits within the character limit...

my 3rds shot is hovering near 5.6... I am amazed.

I will be in triptych. I have one batch of photos, might take more.

Okay, this isn't photography, but I just figgered out how to upload videos to youtube. This is my daughters plus four friends dancing in their school talent show. You won't have any trouble picking out Amelia (she of the color portrait entry), but Kendra might give you a little more trouble (she of the cell phone entry).

Amelia's quite the little performer. She really stands out in that dance routine, and not just because of her hair.

Still sucking nicely in Thirds, but got an "I like it" from Sevil (bless her heart!) AND - I think it's a first - I got a Wish List on my Kitchen entry! Woo hoo! Also got a nice comment from Don on it. :-)

Also, to my fellow Team Suckers - you all know how to check for comments received, yes? Go to your profile page, click on the number next to comments received. You can sort by all, comments marked helpful, or comments not marked helpful. The latter is a good way to check for comments you might not have seen yet. I bring this up because I tend to comment after a challenge on TS shots (as a lot of folks do) so you may have comments you didn't know about.

Just for info, Roz mentioned in the "bans" thread that she'd prefer a horizontally orientated Yappie sucker. (For the purposes of signature space) Anyone fancy creating such a beast?

*sigh* I just did, except I then remembered while saving that I don't know anything about gifs.

Just flip one 90 CCW, and then I had the other one stay unflipped but resized to 50% so it didn't take up as much room.

well done, mist!

for all who were wondering, i've posted the original of my snow landscape, just to show that it really was that dark that day, an a lot of the vignetting was just abysmal weather.

gawd, i'm so sick - flu, and the ms fatigue has mugged me too. so, i'm going back to bed. thanks for all the wonderful comments.

Still no word from the bank about mortgage, but we should know today.

We opted to go through a mortgage specialist place instead of just the bank, because they use about 12 different lenders, and just give you the best offer. The bank - well that's just one lender who sees us.

The man that my hubby spoke with last night apparently sounded fairly positive about one of the lenders actually approving us ! We're stunned. Not as stunned as we will be if he's right though (again - poor credit).

I should have an update on this tomorrow.

Christian - hope you feel better soon! Sounds miserable. If it makes you feel a tad better, you are a PS guru and I bow in awe - the processing you achieved with your landscape photo was amazing!

I'm really excited - I won a 2nd prize in the macro category at //www.betterphoto.com/contest/winners/0703.asp! I evidently get a prize - a "premium betterphotolio" (a website) for a year. It isn't a big prize or anything, but this the first time I've actually won anything with a photo that includes some kind of 'premium'. Yea!!!

Sorry to hear you're being so pounded by flu right now, Christian. Hope you feel better soon.

My Kitchenware left the land of the 6's last night, but it's still hovering around a respectable 5.9; Bubbles is predictably bombing, but erratic - up down, up down - sitting currently at 4.7905. Still looking for the one comment that "gets it". Just one, she says in a tiny voice. :)

I would love to enter Triptych, but have no solid ideas yet; it will either be a rush job or I won't make the deadline at all. *sigh*
