I will travel to Adelaide and Perth from April 12-20 and am looking for suggestions of where to go for quality photographic subjects.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Perth;

Kings Park
Queens Gardens
Mettams Pool - well anywhere between Trigg Beach and North Beach is cool
Yanchep National Park
Hillarys Marina
Whiteman Park
Fremantle - historic areas

Some of my fave areas

I will be out of Perth from the 11th to the 14th but if you are here after that and would like to meet that would be cool.

I arrive in Perth on the 18th and should be free on the Friday evening - the 20th - if you would like to get together. I'd love a guide around Perth. I am obligated to work during the day since my company went through all the trouble to send me to Perth and Adelaide. Hopefully you know some good night spots to shoot.

I see that you own the new Sony DSLR. I use the Minolta 7D and will be bringing my full compliment of lenses. If we get a chance to meet, the lenses should be interchangeable.

I'll email you on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.

Adelaide is known as the "city of churches", there could be some of interest if you are of an architectural bent. (Of course, none quite as old as the older churches in Europe!)

If you can spare a day or two, Kangaroo Island is well worth a visit, particularly Remarkable Rocks and Seal Bay. I could quite happily have spent a day or more shooting just at Remarkable Rocks.

I have to thank Dave (Delta-6) for taking me around Perth and getting some good shots in the short day I had to shoot. Dave, I cant' wait to come back - hopefully this winter and have more time.

Please check out some of my shots from the evening:

My absolute pleasure Tommy, it was a joy to shoot with you. Give me a few months notice and I'll take time off work for when you come back.
