| Does anyone know if Nikon is coming out with something this year? Would like to upgrade to D80. I just don't want to see a month later that there is a new/better camera. Also, someone told me they heard that camera prices are going to drop near the end of the year and to wait till then. Any validity to that? |

| Prices drop all the time, I can't see why they would drastically fall at the end of the year. Why you want to upgrade from the D70 anyway? I'd wait for a couple more models to come out first. Spend your money on lenses, not bodies. |

| I've actually been debating that. Been looking at the Tokina 12-24, and could prob upgrade my "old as dirt" Sigma 70-300. I know prices always go down, but they made it sound like they were going down moreso than usual. |
