I'll put the cream out on the counter right now for the morning. I'm no quitter!

Personally, I stop at the store, even before buying the coffee. :p

are you specifically asking about coffee or when do you stop drinking something that you think is going bad?

Coffee?...never started, can't stand the tastes and hate the smell even more...especially while brewing...YUCK!

Something you think is going bad...ummmm well that depends. My wife and mother-in-law throw stuff out when it is like a week BEFORE it's expiration date. They will toss an entire loaf of bread (if it's expired), that's never even been opened and still looks, feels, taste good. Me, as long is it doesn't have any mold or smell like mold it's probably getting peanut butter slapped on it and eatten. If it's a little dry but I'm hungry I've been known to microwave or toast it a bit. Milk won't usually last to the expiration date anyway but when it does I go until it smells funny. You can usually tell that way.

I think I get it from my mom, she will cut the mold off the cheese and still use the good stuff (which is technically mold anyway). She's even rinsed the top of ice cream (you know in the bucket or box) off to remove the frost bitten stuff.

Iced tea is a different story all together, I have gotten sick from that WAY too many times (actually most of the time from a store bought one or from a restraunt). I don't keep that stuff much past a day or two when I make it. When that stuff goes bad it is not fun.

Which brings up the question...how in the world do they know the milk has spoiled enough to make cottage cheese? That crap is NASty...with a captial NAS! yuck :P

I'm talking about when anything you think is bad.

My dad used to be a food tester for the military. I think it runs in my family to push our limits, heh. That which does not kill us makes us stronger 'n shit. My boyfriend is a pureblood Italian so he eats cheese with the mold still on it. To me that's where I draw the line!

I didn't realize tea could go bad.. that's very strange.

That's what I was going to say... I just mainline coffee, no need for creamer.

So Aliqui, are you saving the cream until you have to spoon the solids into your cup before you try again? :)

That's the plan. If this turns out I might open my own drive thru coffee shop. Hmm.. what would I call it..

Hershey Squirts?
Enema Express?
Latte` Lavemente`? (Lavement being enema in French)

I've got to nail the name down quick before one of you steal my idea!

Is the cup half full? or is it half empty?

My query relates to when I start, therefore when I stop.
