I've been gone for a while, but just finished this one today. Let me know what you think! It wasn't posed at all. My daughter loves dandilions. I just wish I was on the ball enough to capture her blowing them too, my husband distracted me.

Another one of a stranger, but I think she has a lovely smile.
It's strange but it's much more difficult to be horrible and sarcastic about strangers than it is to be about members of your own family. So I'll try to get back to family portraits soon and let the vitriol flow a bit. |

That is such a great photo Vikas! You describe a racer very well. My brother-in-law is a racer, and it is a passion like few I've seen. It is as much a life-blood kind of thing as breathing is to him.

Day 21 - Bubbles
Back on safe aground with Courtney.
I spent a small fortune on bubble equipment but she completely refused to cooperate. When I went outside to get the bubbles ready in advance I failed to notice that a passing dog or fox had taken a huge dump in the centre of the lawn. When Courtney arrived her mother said - 'Go outside and see what Grandad's done.' Inevitably Courtney went out, ignored the bubble machine, but spotted the droppings immediately. She turned round to her mother and said 'Grandad did that ?'.
The look she gave me was wonderful - the first time she has even been slightly impressed. |

Day 22
I am still totally surprised that I have gotten this far without duplicating a model. I think I can make the last week without doing do as well, so now I never can complain again that I don't have any models to use outside my family.
At the same time I have been taking way more portraits than what I have been posting here. I started a side folder within my 30DoP folder to stash them and will probably just unload them all into a post on day 30. This project has been a great one and I am glad that I have gotten so far and seen so much great work from you all. Thank you. |
