 Orange and Maroon Effect Day.
My Wife and I both graduated from VA Tech so the events of the last week especially hit home. The pictures of the buildings and surroundings made it seem surreal. When we went there, and probably right up until Monday, it was a quiet campus where the worst you had to worry about was getting blown across the drillfield on the way to class. Part of the time we were there (while my wife was in Vet school), we were married. Just like most couples, we remember fondly the area and the times at the beginning of our marriage. Those memories have been changed in the last week.

Alex, thank you for sharing your very personal tribute to the horrors of April 16th. If the rest of the world is grieving like we are, I can only imagine how personal and painful it feels to everyone connected to that school!

At first when I saw your picture, I thought, "He looks so sad!", but then, seeing your T-shirt and reading the story -- how else could you look!

My heart and prayers are especially with everyone who is feeling such a personal loss! Thanks for sharing your story!
