Did it happen something like...this?

Didn't really get to finish this the way I wanted (darn work getting in the way) but you get the picture...

I needed something to push the viewer into the shot...I applied negative soft vignette... but should have gone not so strong with it.

Day 3

"What are you going to do to me now?" I took this picture right after he had blood drawn but before he was to be neutered. I got the eyes but the nose is off. Well, keep on trying.

Townley - a great place to start is the LEARN button on the blue bar above. There are a lot of tutorials there. I would suggest reading through them and trying out what you can. The more you try, the more you will want to try. Good luck.

Well this is a down and very dirty edit but they are the basics. I did clone out(albeit a crappy job) the other person in the image that was a distraction.

Adjusted brightness and contrast, made it darker and more saturated.
Adjusted over all curves, darker.
Ran it through neat image to reduce noise, I suggest shooting at a lower ISO in the day light.
A little burning around the edges
Unsharpmask
Save

Hope it helps. I will leave the other image for someone else.

idnic and thegrandwazoo - perfect! Now the suggestion comes from someone else and it perked some interest. Seems I will have to give up my login time though.
