Erin, I really love your B&W conversions in all your photos, and this one is no exception. It's evident that you think about your shots before you take them. This is excellent! |

I just love the way the focus falls away when you get past his ear ... keeps you completely mesmerized by those amazing eyes ... another fantastic portrait, as usual! |

VERY nice. I love the shot against the wall, with the bricks completely disappearing into the out of focus area. What makes a portrait for me is the frankness of the subject, whether that's achieved in what the subject is doing, thus giving us some clue as to who the individual is, or as here, where Daniel is looking with such a frank and open look that it would be unsettling, if his face were not so accessible. I think people are picking up on this by suggesting he has piercing eyes. Whereas I'm sure that's true in life, I think it's the work of the photographer to make the portrait meaningful by directing us to that feature. This is what's happening here, in my opinion. |

Man! Every time I see those eyes, they shoot straight to the core of my soul. Do people stop you guys and just oggle your kids' eyes??? WOW!
This is awesome! As always, Erin! What gorgeous models you have!
