What kind of car is this? This is detail from the front grill. I didn't shoot a photo of the whole car and there was no information tag along with it to tell me what I was shooting. I intended to shoot the whole car so I could figure out what it was later, but I did not... Any ideas?

Yeah a shot of the car would tell me alot more then this. Too bad you didnt atleast get an engine shot i could probly identify the main brand and then use the badge to identify its subsidiary if any.

maybe some sort of an era estimate might help out. was it brand new or 50yrs old...

Yep, it is an Edsel. Don't know the marque, but a quick check online at their website confirmed that the grill badge is Edsel. |
