Los Angeles, March 19, 2007--The first time Airbus A380 No. 1 (MSN001), the largest commercial aircraft in the world, landed on United States soil, direct from Toulouse, France.
I received press credentials and was given permission to photograph this aircraft at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Since this plane was in a test configuration (it had tons of test equipment on board), we were not allowed to photograph the interior.
I hope to post more images when I get a chance.

Here's a short video that was taken aboard the other A380--the one that landed at JFK. This was a two-hour test flight over the Atlantic.
No, I didn't shoot this video! ;-)
