I bought 2 large picture frames. 1 frame has a space for 5 regular size photos (I'm still getting used to sizes, so help me out here, it's about postcard size). The frame is a sliver metal with each photo vertical from the next (Up to down.) Nice frame. Was thinking good for B&W photos.

Then I have another frame which is hard to describe. It's like a big board with several different size and shapes cut out with places for photos. Something you might see with a grad photo of your kids in one frame, and a small photo of your parents in another part of the frame. Hard to describe, tried looking online for an example (And gave up quickly lol).

Anyways, as I said with the metal frame, I think B&W photos would look nice, but I don't know what photos would look good in BW.

So basically, how do most of you choose what to frame when it has multiple cut outs...do you follow a pattern, like kids and family? Do you randomly pick your photos? Just curious...

Dark photos at the bottom and light ones at the top. Other than that, maybe some kind of theme would be nice?

I would try and keep a theme going as you mentioned..all kids, all family, etc.

As far as what gets b/w, that is a personal preference. Most of the time b/w is used to bring more attention to the subject when there are other colors that distract. It can also help hide flaws and other parts of peoples skin again so attention is put on the subject as a whole and not the colored blemishes.

Good luck....oh and the size holes are most likly 4x6 or 3x5
