I got me a new wide zoom lens for the D60 a few weeks ago and finally got around to posting some samples.
The center focal point on the first 2 images is the very to of the building.
The second set of pics, the focal point is the building in the center with the 3 red lights on the top.
if you click on the small pics you will get the full sized image unedited.
19mm-35mm Lens
Let me know what you think, then I will tell you what brand lens it is.

Results look very similar to what I get off of the Tamron 19-35... am I correct?

Its a quantaray 19-35, which i think is made by Tokina, or another maker and just renamed.
I know its not very sharp, but for $199 its not a bad deal

How does it do close up ? Could you post some shots, say 6 inches from a foreground subject ? I'd love to see how it does then.
Certainly less distortion than my $40 semi fisheye

Ahh, not the Tamron. I need to get out & do some work with the Tamron 19-35 on a tripod to really figure out how (un)sharp it is. I think it is very similar to jab's results with the Quantaray, maybe a bit sharper, but can't be sure.
I really want to compare to the Sigma EX 17-35 f/2.8-4. I've gotta believe the Sigma is quite a bit sharper.

Gordon, I will try to get some close up sample shots, but the minium focus distance is 15 inches (according to the web site).
Also I need to do some test at different apetures to find the sweet spot of this lens. I got it mainly for my trip to Big Bend National Park in December.
I did some indoor shots a few weeks ago at a baby shower, but dont have any of the pics up yet.
kirbic I wanted to get the Sigma 17-35, but just decided to save my money for my trip instead
