This may be more difficult than it's worth, but I was thinking about having a challenge where you have to take one of your previous entries, and based on the comments, either take another photo or make color/hue/ etc changes to the old photo to make it better. On the voting page there should be a link to the old photo. This may be the hardest part logistically speaking. Maybe we can use the title to provide a cut&paste link to the old photo. Voting will be based on the overall photo as well as level of improvement.
If anything, it will motivate people to go back and implement comments and hopefully learn from their 'mistakes'. The down side is that new members and Kiwiness-like members won't be able to participate. |

On any given picture the comments I get are usually split 50/50 in favour of
More focus/ less focus
More blur/ less blur
Using B&W/ keeping it in colour
Hating the pic/ loving the pic
Adding an element/ keeping an element
Cropping in closer/ showing more of the scene

Ir's not a bad idea in theorry but, this would apply only if one where able to make technical improvments on the shot.
I have gotton may comflicting comments on the same picture IE "I would like to see it tiled further to the right." I would like to see it level, the tilt is distracting" or something to that effect.
You cannot please everyone all the time in this, it is in the eye of the beholder.

| hmm, i actually think it sounds like a good idea.. but some people are opportunists and can only get a shot or two to capture their image. they might not be able to dupicate a shot.. - also, what about the people who never submit images that could be improved? |

Hear it Kiwi? You, Nasti and me are out. You and Nasti because you both have excellent photos, me, because I am new and I don't have that much. What about some chat next to a beer instead of this challenge? :-)))))
Alltogether I like the idea, and I know I have to improve a lot. Just wait until I get my Canon PowerShot G3 or G5, let me remake my photos with a new camrea. :-)
