Thank you to all who voted and gave me your thoughts on Something Wicked This Way Comes. This is my highest placing shot to date and is taken in my usual candid non arranged style. Someone asked for a look at the color version and here it is. newtune3

damn.. that spider is even cooler than it looked in black and white.. you should've raised the saturation/contrast.. would look really tight..

Hi. I think the b/w was the better choice for the challenge. But I thought that maybe you should have flipped the image so it looked like the spider was walking towards the viewer in a determined, evil way. Maybe you tried it and it didn't look right? Good spider shot none the less.

I did not try flipping the image. Submitted it the same orientation as it was shot. I might try it tonight. Thanks again for the good words.
