I did not put this in the rant section because it did not point out any particular party

I'd like to announce I will be running for Senate in 2010 :-)

I think this email circulated to you was designed to be a little inflammatory. I keep reading "accused" and "arrested" but not "convicted" or "sentenced".

In addition, how many of these "facts" point to the same individuals...for example, in the count of those who allegedly bankrupted businesses how many are also the same ones who can't get credit cards?

I think critical reading may make this whole argument appear a little Chicken-Little-esque, "The sky is falling!" That said, I'm not really attempting to defend our elected officials, just hoping to refute circumspect logic.

Yup. You'll be old enough then. With your taste in photo subjects you should fit right in and probably have the required number of skeletons in the closet.

I'm sure the original poster could have stuck to the facts and still made a strong point. Of course if you look at men and women of the cloth you'll find a record that will make members of the congress look like saints, if you please. I belong to a group that generally lies at the bottom of the crime heap. Concealed handgun permit holders. Mainly because of the background checks we must undergo to obtain and maintain said permit. (stick a little gun/anti-gun in there. That should spice things up.) ;)

haha, wouldn't the group that lies at the bottom of the crime heap be the group of people who has not been convicted of a crime? Your logic seems somewhat circular if you are trying to make any point about people with concealed guns.
